I have a thing for pillows~ vintage white ironstone~
vintage baskets~ Oh, and definitely vintage linens, love my vintage linens!! Not to mention that vintage linens are perfect for making pillows!~
Pillows are an quick & easy way to change things around in your home. I've purchased some gorgeous pillows in the past, and finally decided that I could make my own the way I had envisioned them to be.
When I make my pillows, I mostly design them using vintage fabrics, I love the history of a piece of vintage fabric. Sometimes they stay for a while in my home and then move on to my on-line shop or space and then of course, I'll make more.
So, now I have a never ending supply of pillows. And oh how I love to see them all piled together, simply beautiful!~

Some favorite pillows with a few of my favorite things~
Some of these pillows were made by me & others were purchased from wonderful shops or were gifts from lovely friends.

Hope you have a lovely day!

It is so pretty Melinda.
ReplyDeleteI adore your union jack pillows.
You know my stupid allergy to down fillings, Urrg.
I love love the union jack one passed on to me ;)
I find so many lovely pillows that I have to pass on because of the fillings. So it is best i just by beautiful covers and stuff them myself or make them all.
Pillows can be addicting for sure!!
Have a great week!!
Amy

I find myself in a linen or grain sack coma quite often, Melinda! lol! I can't get enough of them whether in pillow form or duvet form or towel form! I think I'm in need of a 12-Step program..... hehehe!

Amazingly, I love those things too! And since I can't sew I have to buy mine and I love Pottery Barn because you can just change the pillow covering to seasons, room colors because you always have the inset. So, I have a question, "Do you sew slipcovers for chaise lounges?"
ReplyDeleteLovely. I am in the mood to sew now....just need a few more things organized before I can start :)
ReplyDeleteOn your older posts, do not sell the piece that you and your husband bought. It is lovely, unique in it's character and paint and adds a touch that sets you apart.
Combine your business pages....never make your clients go to 2 locations when 1 will do....inevitably someone will get lost on their way!
